August 2010 was a quiet month with only 9 closings among the various condo / townhouse units in Bridgewater, NJ. I think by reading the news buyers think they can hold our for home prices to drop and sellers feel they can't go any lower with their list price. When you have the two parties involved thinking this way units don't sell quickly and people are missing out on great opportunities to own. If you're thinking about buying a condo / townhouse, the prices out there are very reasonable and when you couple that with low interest rates you can't go wrong. There are many benefits to home ownership and you can only take advantage of them when you own your place. In my opinion, Bridgewater is a wonderful place to live. I love Bridgewater so much that I too live in a Bridgewater Condo. I practice what I preach and can honestly say I'm very happy in my decision. About Bridgewater

Bridgewater is a relatively large, mostly affluent suburban township located in the center of Somerset County, NJ.

The thirty-three square mile area which is now the Township of Bridgewater was originally purchased from a local Lenape Native American tribe. Bridgewater was chartered by George II of Great Britain in 1749, and incorporated as one of New Jersey's 104 original townships in 1798.
